잔을 흔들면 금빛이 얇게 돌고 코를 가져가면 토피와 퍼지가 먼저 오다가 톱밥과 브리오슈가 뒤를 잇는다. 멀리서 풀을 태우는 듯한 연기가 아주 옅게 비치고 전체적으로 먼지 같은 마른 기운이 깔린다. 한 모금 머금으면 흔한 상업 병입보다 거친 결이 느껴지고 신 나무와 곡물 그리고 사과즙의 산미가 지나간다. 사탕 설탕과 마멀레이드가 뒤를 채우며 몸은 제법 기름지다. 삼키면 쌉쌀한 마무리가 중간 길이로 남는다.
