잔을 기울이면 밀짚처럼 옅은 빛깔이 눈에 먼저 들어와 셰리와는 거리가 멀다는 걸 알린다. 코를 가져가면 갓 벤 풀과 건초, 요구르트를 닮은 시큼한 향이 순서대로 인사한다. 한 모금 머금으면 50.4도가 가볍게 퍼지고 조린 사과와 캔디 슈거의 단맛이 이어진다. 조금 더 굴리면 커피콩 같은 마른 쌉쌀함이 스치듯 나타난다. 삼킨 뒤에는 사과주를 닮은 상큼함이 짧게 남고 흩어진다.
