잔을 흔들면 잼과 파이프 담배를 닮은 향이 먼저 잔 위로 솟는다. 코를 더 가까이 하면 살구잼과 망고, 건포도와 귤이 한꺼번에 밀려들어 이름값을 한다. 한 모금 머금으면 58.7도가 입안을 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르며 가죽과 담뱃잎의 맛이 뒤따른다. 물을 조금 타서 다시 삼키면 자두와 마르멜로, 옅은 박하가 새로 열린다. 삼킨 뒤에도 말린 과일의 단맛이 혀뿌리에 아주 길게 남는다.
