테이스팅 노트
주황이 감도는 호박색이 잔 속에 맑게 퍼진다. 1979년 증류액을 25년 재워 50도로 병입한 이 보틀링은 화려함보다 정확한 과실 향으로 승부한다. 미라벨 자두와 모과, 꿀이 또렷하게 앞서고 감초의 서늘한 뒷맛이 향에 깊이를 더한다. 입안에서는 체리 증류주 같은 날카로운 과실감이 번지고 회향과 시트러스 껍질이 뒤따라 열린다. 여운은 약초 리큐어를 닮은 청량함으로 이어지며 입안을 산뜻하게 정리한다.

We’re miles away from the high-volume, big-brand style. With water: the florals and spices burst wide open—borage, fennel, liquorice, caraway, chamomile, poppy, little lemons, all manner of citrus zests… Boom, that’s three more points right there
