잔을 코끝으로 가져가면 토피와 퍼지의 단내가 먼저 인사하고 그 뒤로 톱밥과 브리오슈, 옅은 풀 연기가 따라온다. 오래 묵은 병 특유의 마른 기운도 함께 스친다. 한 모금을 머금으면 시큼한 나무와 곡물, 사과주스 같은 산미가 차례로 지나가고 마멀레이드의 단맛이 중간을 잡는다. 40도치고 바디가 제법 기름지다. 삼키면 쌉쌀함과 종이 같은 마른 뒷맛이 중간 길이로 남는다. 1956년 빈티지를 담은 실버 씰의 크리스털 디캔터다.
