향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
밀로이스 오브 소호가 빈티지 리저브로 내놓은 1971년 원액은 잔에 옅은 금빛으로 어린다. 향은 헤더 꽃과 라벤더가 먼저 피어오르고 이어 패션프루트와 구아바, 바닐라 크림이 부드럽게 이어지며 시간이 지나면 마른 나무의 먼지가 비친다. 43도의 입맛은 설탕에 절인 오렌지와 말린 과일로 시작해 옅은 연기와 재를 지나 구운 빵과 감초로 옮겨간다. 스물다섯 해가 남긴 타닌이 끝에서 조금 마르지만 후추의 여운은 깔끔하게 정리된다.

again a step forward. Much more oomph this time. Some very nice notes of heather, lavender and tropical fruits (passion fruit, guava). Very nice balance. Vanilla crème, kumquat, skin of an overripe orange. Nice nose! Some oakiness and dust emerge after a few minutes

rather bold attack, on crystallised orange, dried fruits, fructose. Nice! Hints of smoke and ashes. Too bad it gets a little too woody and tannic again. Develops on toasted bread, burnt cake, with hints of liquorice. Medium finish, on tannins and pepper. This one is much better than the 18yo, that’s for sure. 83 points.
