스페이사이드 크라이겔라키 매캘런의 시원한 강가 풍토와 미네랄 풍부한 물이 매캘런 1977의 결을 깊게 빚어낸다. 짙은 적갈색 너머로 건포도와 무화과, 가죽과 시가 박스의 향이 또렷이 드러난다. 35년 올로로소 셰리 캐스크가 만든 진한 단맛과 호두 껍질이 두꺼운 질감으로 입을 채우고, 44.5도 알코올은 메도사이드 블렌딩의 시간감을 깊게 풀어낸다.

it’s a cleaner, less meaty version of the Gran Reserva, but it’s just as fragrant and almost perfumy. This time it’s more sandalwood and incense, maybe roses, then cigars and the usual dried fruits, figs, raisins… There’s also some charcoal, wood smoke, then more bitter chocolate, dried porcinis... I have to say I like this nose
