코끝에 먼저 걸리는 것은 아몬드 껍질과 민트의 서늘함이다. 곡물 뉘앙스는 억제되어 있고 젖은 돌을 연상시키는 광물성이 향의 윤곽을 또렷하게 만든다. 1947년 증류액을 33년 숙성한 이 위스키는 셰리 우드를 거쳤음에도 색이 옅은 볏짚에 머문다. 입에서는 깨끗하고 날이 선 인상이 이어지며 시간이 지날수록 곡물 시리얼과 블루베리가 커진다. 피니시는 길고 감초가 뚜렷하며 쌉쌀한 허브가 끝을 정리한다.
