옅은 밀짚빛이 잔 속에서 또렷하게 빛난다. 1939년 원액이 셰리 우드에서 33년을 보냈지만 향은 무겁게 가라앉지 않고 오히려 날이 서 있다. 아몬드와 박하의 서늘함이 앞서고 그 아래 젖은 백묵 같은 미네랄의 결이 깔린다. 43도의 술은 입안에서 뮤즐리와 블루베리의 산뜻함으로 이어지며 이탄을 닮은 기운을 잠깐 비친다. 고든 앤 맥페일의 이 보틀링은 감초와 용담의 쌉쌀함을 길게 남긴다.
