테이스팅 노트
노즈는 예상과 달리 셰리가 크게 앞서지 않는다. 곡물과 맥아의 감각이 먼저 드러나고 신선한 오렌지와 베티버가 뒤따르며 향수처럼 은은하게 발전한다. 팰럿에서 비로소 옛 스타일 셰리가 명확해져 건포도와 허니듀, 데메라라 설탕과 콘플레이크가 차례로 이어진다. 오렌지꽃 물과 마지팬이 마무리를 잡는다. 피니시는 중간 이상 길이로 꿀과 정향, 캐러웨이가 깊게 머문다. 1937년 증류해 1970년에 병입한 40도 릴리스다.

do not expect a big sherriness such as in the older tens or twelves from the 1990s or early 2000s, it’s rather a slightly grainy/malty whisky at first nosing. Having said that, there’s also very nice notes of fresh oranges and vetiver, with something clearly perfumy but in a very nice way. Green oranges (or Eau d'Orange Verte by Hermès, baby). much old style sherry on the palate, with raisins and honeydew, Demerara sugar, cornflakes… And then we’re back to oranges, oriental pastries (with a lot of orange blossom water) and a little marzipan. Works very well
