금빛이 섞인 호박색이 잔 속에 진하게 잠겨 있다. 옛 셰리 통에서 열 해를 보낸 이 매캘런의 향은 잼 단지와 파이프 담배를 함께 연 듯하다. 망고 처트니와 살구잼, 건포도와 리치, 인동꽃이 한꺼번에 어우러지고 입안에서는 기름진 질감 위로 담뱃잎과 가죽, 말린 자두와 모과가 겹친다. 고든 앤 맥페일이 담은 이 보틀링은 옅은 장뇌와 박하의 서늘함을 남기며 아주 길게 이어진다.
