금빛이 도는 앰버가 잔 벽을 따라 천천히 미끄러진다. 셰리 우드에서 25년을 보낸 1995년 빈티지답게 아카시아 꿀과 라일락, 밀랍이 겹겹이 피어오르고 그 뒤로 옅은 연기와 가죽 광택제의 향이 따라붙는다. 잔을 오래 두면 잘 익은 살구와 세비야 오렌지의 새콤한 결이 드러난다. 43도의 낮은 도수임에도 입안은 살구잼과 자두, 밤꿀의 단맛으로 촘촘하게 채워진다. 구운 브리오슈와 후추의 여운이 잔잔하게 남는다.

oh well... this is, I mean, just amazing. Incredible smokiness and a full tanker of acacia honey as well as lilac, beeswax and leather polish. Goes on and on... ripe apricots, flower nectar, Seville oranges, orange syrup, whiffs of seawater... Absolutely exceptional. Gets smokier with time (Havana smoke). Hints of apple peelings. This nose just leaves me speechless (who said good news?)
