테이스팅 노트
노즈는 뱅쇼와 정향, 주니퍼베리의 향신료로 강하게 출발한다. 뒤이어 다크 초콜릿과 간장, 발사믹, 숯불에 구운 고기 같은 셰리 계열이 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 질감이 두껍고 럼에 절인 건포도와 무화과, 오래된 란시오가 이어지며 정향과 후추로 발전한다. 46도라는 도수에도 힘이 빠지지 않고 구조감이 살아 있다. 피니시는 길고 입안을 감싸며 옅은 소금기와 블랙베리 젤리의 잔향을 남긴다.

yes, this is extremely different from any other Macallan. Starts on heady notes of mulled wine, cloves, big juniper berries, spearmint and coffee toffee and gets then more classically sherried, with the dark chocolate upfront and then notes of soy sauce, balsamico and barbecued beef. Also cigar box, thuja wood and very ripe blackberries. What’s quite incredible is that the whole is still quite fresh and lively, and certainly not sluggish. I like it

thick, oily, rich, not weak at all despite the 40%, and more of a classic now. Heavy notes of rum-soaked raisins, figs, old rancio (huge!) and orange and herbs liqueur (like that famous Dantziger Goldwasser).
