테이스팅 노트
맑은 금빛이 잔 속에서 부드럽게 흔들린다. 1968년에 증류해 1983년 베리 브라더스 앤 러드가 병입한 이 위스키는 오렌지와 귤, 붉은 사과의 과즙 향이 앞서고 여러 겹의 꿀과 들꽃, 바나나가 그 위에 얹힌다. 43도의 입안은 오크가 있으나 마르지 않아 딸기와 살구, 구스베리의 맛이 편안하게 이어진다. 여운은 뜻밖에 길어 감초와 생강, 육두구의 향신이 마지막까지 또렷하다.

ah yes, this one is typical of many old Macallans by G&M – proof that warehouses and locations have an influence, don’t you think? Many fruits such as oranges and tangerines, fruity apples (large red ones, for example), various honeys, flowers from the fields, syrups and liqueurs, bananas… It’s fresh and mucho lively! Let’s hope the palate won’t be too dry and oaky…

great news, there’s some oak of course but it isn’t drying or cardboardy, not at all. Many fruits, strawberries, ripe apples, gooseberries, apricots, peaches… It’s all extremely drinkable!
