잔을 가볍게 흔들면 깊은 적갈빛이 잔 벽을 부드럽게 적신다. 코를 가까이 대면 매캘란 셰리 오크다운 건포도와 오렌지, 마른 향신료의 향이 우아하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 18년 셰리 캐스크 숙성의 매끈한 질감이 혀를 감싸고 43도의 차분한 도수가 말린 과실과 꿀을 드러낸다. 삼키고 나면 은은한 셰리 단맛과 우디한 향신료가 혀끝에 길게 남는다.
