테이스팅 노트
스페이강을 굽어보는 크레이겔라키 언덕의 매캘런은 셰리 숙성의 대명사로 불린다. 셰리 캐스크에서 익어 1987년에 병입한 이 1968년 빈티지는 잔에 밝은 금빛을 담는다. 향은 오렌지와 귤, 붉은 사과와 여러 꿀, 들꽃과 시럽, 바나나로 생기 있게 피어난다. 43도의 입에서는 오크가 있으되 마르지 않고 딸기와 잘 익은 사과, 구스베리와 살구, 복숭아가 놀랍도록 부드럽게 흐른다. 여운은 길고 감초와 생강, 육두구가 곱게 남는다.

ah yes, this one is typical of many old Macallans by G&M – proof that warehouses and locations have an influence, don’t you think? Many fruits such as oranges and tangerines, fruity apples (large red ones, for example), various honeys, flowers from the fields, syrups and liqueurs, bananas… It’s fresh and mucho lively! Let’s hope the palate won’t be too dry and oaky…

great news, there’s some oak of course but it isn’t drying or cardboardy, not at all. Many fruits, strawberries, ripe apples, gooseberries, apricots, peaches… It’s all extremely drinkable!
