잔을 천천히 돌리면 1967년 빈티지의 깊은 갈색이 잔 벽을 타고 느리게 흘러내린다. 코끝으로 가져가면 셰리 우드에서 온 말린 자두와 오래된 가죽 향이 먼저 다가온다. 한 모금 머금으면 18년이 빚은 묵직한 건포도 단맛과 호두 껍질의 쌉쌀함이 혀를 감싼다. 43도의 부드러운 술을 삼키면 맥캘란 특유의 오크와 향신료 여운이 길게 따라온다.
