어두운 밀짚색이 잔 가장자리에서 옅게 번진다. 같은 셰리 오크 12년이라도 병입 시기에 따라 표정이 달라진다는 사실을 보여 주는 한 병이다. 버터스카치와 쇼트브레드의 단 향 뒤로 멘톨의 서늘함과 죽처럼 눅진한 곡물 냄새가 따라온다. 40도의 액체는 몸집이 가벼워 사과즙과 몰트, 옅은 꿀의 맛이 빠르게 지나간다. 배경에 남은 새콤한 과일이 균형을 잡아 준다. 여운은 짧고 건조하게 마무리되며 마멀레이드의 잔향만 옅게 남는다.
