향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
잔을 들어 빛에 비추면 청동빛 도는 금색이 천천히 흘러내린다. 코를 대면 브라우니와 초콜릿, 말린 포르치니의 흙내가 올라오지만 연필 깎은 냄새가 살짝 끼어들고 향은 이내 옅어진다. 한 모금 머금으면 정향과 마멀레이드, 피칸파이의 단맛이 되살아나며 셰리 시즌드 오크의 존재를 알린다. 삼킨 뒤에는 초콜릿을 입힌 오렌지 케이크가 짧게 스치며 40도의 가벼운 몸을 드러낸다.

sure it’s not big, but it is rather nice, despite a few disturbing whiffs of pencil shavings. Large-brand chocolate, brownies, garden peat (and other earthy things), dried porcinis… Sadly, it really fades away after just two minutes, to the point where I’m thinking I should have used an amplifying glass instead of my faithful tulip glass. Goodbye!

ah, more power now, at least for a while. More oomph and flavours than in the Double Cask, cloves, marmalade, chocolate cake, pecan pie… But then, again, it tends to become thin. What’s nicer is that oranges remain there

short and thin, but not as evanescent as the humble Double Cask. Orange cake covered with chocolate
