테이스팅 노트
노즈는 60.2도라는 도수 탓에 초반에 마취적이라 할 만큼 강하다. 갓 증류한 듯한 곡물 뉘앙스와 짙은 훈연이 앞서고 물을 더해야 비로소 모래사장과 숯불, 신선한 정어리의 결이 드러난다. 팰럿은 풀 향과 훈연, 감귤 산미가 날카롭게 조각된 구성이다. 재의 건조함이 흠 없이 정돈되어 있다. 피니시는 길고 예리하며 잿가루의 결이 끝까지 지배한다. 1978년 증류 카올 일라의 힘을 그대로 보여준다.
