노즈는 기름진 결이 지배적이다. 사과 껍질과 램프 오일, 파라핀과 퍼티가 차례로 드러나고 갓 짠 버터와 생아몬드의 고소함이 그 사이를 채운다. 훈연은 앞서지 않고 뿌리채소 같은 흙 뉘앙스와 함께 뒤에 선다. 팰럿은 사과즙과 레몬즙의 산미에 후추와 소금이 붙고 훈제 굴과 청어의 기름기가 명확하게 드러난다. 16년 숙성이 만든 밀도가 어린 카올 일라보다 두껍다. 피니시는 길고 왁스와 잎사귀의 결이 남는다.
