테이스팅 노트
잔을 흔들면 옅은 금빛이 얇게 돌고 코를 가져가면 마른 건초와 파라핀, 경유 냄새가 차례로 밀려온다. 테레빈유와 아마인유까지 겹쳐 화방에 들어선 듯한 인상을 준다. 한 모금 머금으면 처음엔 밀랍 같은 단맛이 돌다가 곧 거칠고 매운 풀 맛으로 바뀌며 입안이 마른다. 삼키면 허브와 초록 타닌이 오래 버틴다. 1992년 원액을 호그스헤드에서 14년 재운 46도 보틀링으로 편하기보다 까다로운 쪽이다.

Gets then grassier (hay), with quite some paraffin, diesel oil… quite rough but actually quite stylish at the same time. We have also whiffs of turpentine and linseed oil. A painter’s studio?

long, herbal, with still a lot of paraffin and green tannins. This one is a little difficult I think but it’s an interesting variant, more austere. 81 points.
