짚빛에 가까운 옅은 색이 셰리 숙성치고는 놀랍도록 맑다. 스물일곱 해를 보낸 1983년 원액은 캐스크보다 증류소의 성격이 앞선다. 향은 미네랄과 젖은 흙이 먼저 열리고 그 위로 마른 이탄 연기가 얇게 깔린다. 입에서는 54.5도의 힘이 곧게 들어와 흙내와 레몬 껍질의 산미가 선명하게 갈라진다. 여운은 길고 짠기와 감귤이 번갈아 떠오르며 서늘하게 정리된다.
