잔을 코앞에서 천천히 돌리면 버번 캐스크가 남긴 버터와 바닐라 향이 새콤한 피트와 나란히 올라온다. 시간을 두면 커민과 정향 같은 향신료가 서서히 앞자리를 차지한다. 한 모금을 머금으면 55.1도의 술이 진하면서도 날렵하게 흐르고 레몬과 미네랄, 소금물 같은 짠맛이 차례로 드러난다. 물을 조금 더하면 사과와 소나무 수지 같은 푸른 향이 열린다. 삼키면 레몬이 끝까지 남아 깔끔하게 정리된다. 1983년 원액이 26년을 채운 보틀링이다.
