잔을 흔든 뒤 코를 가져가면 신선한 버터와 바닐라가 새콤한 피트와 함께 올라와 균형을 잡는다. 리필 셰리 우드의 개입은 크지 않지만 시간이 지나면 커민과 정향이 서서히 앞으로 나온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 55.3도의 술이 풍성하면서도 날렵하게 흐르며 레몬과 미네랄, 굴 즙 같은 짠맛이 차례로 갈라진다. 물을 더하면 단맛이 늘되 결은 흐트러지지 않는다. 삼키면 레몬이 끝까지 남아 깨끗하게 마무리된다.
