캐나다의 광활한 평원과 긴 겨울은 포터의 위스키에 서늘하고 깔끔한 성격을 새긴다. 버번 배럴에서 24년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 카데나스가 골라 담아 맑은 호박빛을 띤다. 코에는 호밀빵과 메이플 시럽, 바닐라의 향이 달콤하게 열린다. 56.5도의 높은 도수는 입안에서 캐러멜과 정향, 마른 오크의 매운맛을 또렷하게 밀어 올린다. 사반세기에 가까운 숙성이 거친 기운을 다듬어 균형을 잡았고, 여운에는 흑설탕과 향신료가 따뜻하게 이어진다.
