테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 폐쇄된 벤 와이비스의 1968년 빈티지가 들려주는 묵은 밀랍과 말린 망고, 오래된 오크가 먼저 드러난다. 31년의 긴 숙성을 거친 하이랜드 몰트답게 농축된 열대 과일의 향이 노즈를 지배한다. 팰럿에서는 50.6도의 도수 위로 꿀과 캐러멜, 가벼운 허브가 명확하게 발전한다. 피니시는 길게 이어지며 마른 오크와 시트러스의 산미가 또렷하게 남는다. 사라진 증류소의 희귀함이 담긴 구조감 단단한 올드 몰트다.

Leafy and green, full of green apple peelings, porridge oats, lemon oils, a little toasted sourdough bread, freshly malted barley, dry earth and after a little time some lightly sooty aspects. Really rather lovely! Takes on a gravely, mineralic edge after a while as well. A touch of mustard seed and mixed moroccan spice. With water: some spearmint, green tea and a handful of trail mix. Also a touch of chamois leather

Rather spicy, all on white pepper and camphor initially, although this quickly gives way to a rather beautiful waxiness with lamp oil and hessian abound. Grassy olive oil, sandalwood, a well-buttered slice of malt loaf and some toasted sunflower seeds. With water: more citrus and grassy notes along with a lightly chalky mineral quality and a few white flowers. Some pollen and beeswax as well

Good length, slightly drying but with some elegant honeysuckle and light spice notes towards the end
