잔을 흔들면 53.2도라는 비교적 낮은 도수답게 향이 부담 없이 풀려 나온다. 코를 가져가면 젖은 흙과 마른 약초가 먼저 오고 훈제 연어와 담뱃재 같은 연기가 그 위에 얹힌다. 한 모금을 삼키면 처음엔 기름진 질감이 혀를 덮다가 곧 시트론의 산미와 짠맛이 갈라져 나온다. 열여덟 해를 보낸 만큼 각이 서지 않고 흐름이 매끄럽다. 넘긴 뒤에는 흙내와 소금기가 나란히 남는다.
