18년의 리필 버번 호그스헤드는 색을 거의 남기지 않아 백포도주에 가깝다. 대신 흙과 약초, 용담 뿌리 같은 쓴 향이 앞서고 훈제 연어가 뒤를 받친다. 56.6도의 입은 첫 모금부터 기름지며 시트론과 소금물이 뒤따른다. 끝맛은 보통의 카올 일라보다 기름지고 흙내가 길게 남는다.
