향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
리필 호그스헤드가 열한 해 동안 만들어 낸 것은 짙은 금빛과 놀랄 만큼 정돈된 구조다. 향은 붕대와 장뇌로 시작해 코코아와 오크로 넘어가고 셰리는 아주 조심스럽게만 비친다. 입은 감초와 뿌리채소, 사과 파이의 단맛이 피트와 단단히 얽혀 있다. 굴즙 같은 짠맛이 아주 긴 끝맛을 만든다.

what a superb attack, very medicinal, on bandages, embrocations, camphor… A very delicate, yet very bold peat, mixed with quite some cocoa and oak. The sherry is very discreet but it’s well there. Also quite some grain, mash, porridge… cider apples… Very pure! And what a great balance in this oldie!
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
a perfect mouth feel, bold and punchy at that. A beautiful sweetness, with ‘of course’ lots of peat, which make the malt perfectly ‘compact’ (and not narrow at all). Develops on liquorice, roots, pepper, apple pie… And always this superb peatiness. I love how it stays very clean and, again, so compact. Extremely satisfying… Ah, and now there’s some fresh oysters… The finish is very long, on ‘oyster juice’ and apple juice.
