향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈는 재와 광물, 분필의 건조한 인상에서 출발해 과일 향 입욕제 같은 뉘앙스로 발전한다. 마른 해초와 감칠맛 나는 조미료, 헤더 꽃이 뒤를 받치며 짠맛과 향기로움이 동시에 성립한다. 팰럿의 도입이 특히 좋아 훈제한 벌꿀과 후추가 섞인 피트 연기, 절인 레몬이 순서대로 나온다. 물을 더하면 훈제 올리브유 같은 질감이 입을 채운다. 피니시는 길고 짭조름하며 미네랄 소금이 남는다. 15년, 55.1%의 균형이 단단하다.

lovely arrival! All on smoked honeys, sweet, lightly tarry and peppery peat smoke, herbal teas, preserved lemons, pickled gherkin and soft medicinal embrocations. It's both a lighter style Caol Ila, and one that displays a little more charisma than just ash and seawater. With water: lovely texture that feels like sipping smoked olive oil mixed with fresh lemon juice. You can also add ink, TCP, smoked mint, eucalyptus oils and a wee note of hessian
