아주 옅은 밀짚빛이 잔 안에서 가볍게 흔들린다. 향은 이탄 연기와 사과, 조개껍데기와 젖은 돌이라는 익숙한 얼굴 위에 사탕수수 설탕과 신선한 버터의 기름진 단맛을 살짝 얹는다. 1990년에 증류해 십 년을 보낸 이 위스키는 56.6도의 도수로 입안에서 풀 같은 푸릇함과 짜릿한 산미를 앞세운다. 여운은 길게 이어지되 복잡하지 않고 은근한 단맛이 끝까지 곧게 남는다.
