잔을 흔들면 향이 대번에 기름진 쪽으로 기운다. 코를 가져가면 사과 껍질과 램프 오일, 아마인유와 파라핀이 층을 이루고 생아몬드와 퍼티, 잉크 냄새가 그 틈을 메운다. 물론 연기도 빠지지 않는다. 한 모금 머금으면 사과즙과 레몬즙의 산미 위로 후추와 훈제 굴, 소금기가 겹쳐 오르고 57.5도의 힘이 곧게 버틴다. 삼킨 뒤에는 왁스와 잎사귀 같은 결이 오래 남는다.
