맑은 화이트 와인빛이 잔 속에 조용히 놓여 있다. 같은 1995년 호그스헤드 18년 숙성이지만 이 보틀링은 흙과 약초 쪽으로 성격이 기울어 있다. 향에서는 쓴 뿌리와 젖은 흙, 훈제 연어의 기름진 냄새가 먼저 다가오고 연기는 담배와 갈탄 사이 어딘가에 머문다. 입은 의외로 기름지고 두꺼워 시트론과 소금물이 뒤엉킨다. 여운은 평소의 카올일라보다 더 길고 유질감이 있으며 끝까지 흙내와 짠맛을 놓지 않는다.
