잔을 흔들면 옅은 밀짚빛이 가볍게 잔 안쪽을 적신다. 코를 가까이 가져가면 스카이 섬의 토라베이그가 내뿜는 젖은 장작 연기와 바닷바람, 그 아래로 1차 충전 버번이 준 레몬과 바닐라가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 한 모금을 머금으면 60도의 강한 기운이 혀를 데우며 후추 같은 피트와 보리 단맛이 부딪친다. 삼키면 어린 위스키답지 않은 짭짤한 연기가 혀끝을 오래 따라온다.
