화이트 와인처럼 옅은 빛 아래 아마인유와 바닷물이 곧게 서 있다. 게와 새우, 해초의 짠내가 뒤따르고 박하를 머금은 연기가 그 위에 얹힌다. 43도라는 도수가 아쉽지 않을 만큼 입은 아까시 꿀을 전나무로 훈제한 듯 달고 짜다. 여운은 알맞게 길며 훈제한 꿀이 마지막에 다시 돌아온다.

soft and rounded for a Caol Ila, but how we do enjoy those extra 3%! It’s like acacia honey smoked over fir and beechwood, to which one might have added a splash of lemon juice, a touch of oyster brine and bits of smoked salmon (with beechwood again, naturally)
