테이스팅 노트
투명에 가까운 옅은 빛이 잔 안에 고인다. 호그스헤드에서 23년을 보낸 1984년 원액은 보통의 카올 일라보다 약재의 성격이 짙어서 소독약과 요오드 팅크의 향이 점점 크게 번진다. 58.5도의 입은 힘 있고 깨끗하며 용담 증류주 같은 쌉쌀함 위로 딸기 풍선껌의 옅은 단내와 소금기가 스친다. 물을 더하면 호두와 조개의 갯내가 또렷해진다. 여운은 길고 약재의 인상이 남으며 쓴 아몬드로 마무리된다.
