금빛이 제법 짙게 내려앉은 잔에서 페놀과 타르가 먼저 새어 나온다. 새 비닐과 퍼티, 재와 젖은 부엽토가 뒤엉키고 풋사과와 호두가 그 틈을 벌린다. 43도의 입은 소금물로 시작해 통조림 파인애플을 지나 만사니야와 호두, 겨자의 마른 결로 옮겨간다. 여운은 호두 속껍질의 떫음과 소금 감초로 길게 남는다.

it’s the saltiness, the brine that strikes first, and that would come together with wee notes of tinned pineapples. After that it becomes very fino-ish, with these walnuts, sweet mustard, more walnuts, manzanilla, green coffee… The strength is perfect. Only problem, it goes down a little too well

long, rather ashy, a tad astringent in a good way (walnut skins) and with quite some salted liquorice in the background
