옅은 황금빛이 잔에 고요히 깔린다. 셰리 캐스크를 거친 1984년 원액은 중간 정도의 피트를 버터 같은 부드러움으로 감싸고 갓 자른 사과와 귤 껍질의 상큼함을 그 위에 올린다. 바닷바람과 생굴의 기척도 함께 스친다. 53.5도의 입은 감초와 연기, 마지팬의 고소한 단맛이 번갈아 나타나며 시간이 갈수록 재와 광물 쪽으로 기운다. 여운은 마르고 깨끗한 피트로 길게 이어진다.
