테이스팅 노트
잔을 코끝으로 가져가면 감귤류가 먼저 인사한다. 귤과 자몽, 순수한 레몬이 차례로 스치고 그 위에 레몬을 뿌린 굴 접시 같은 짠 향이 겹친다. 물을 몇 방울 떨어뜨리고 다시 맡으면 가마의 열기와 오래된 가죽, 바닷물이 한꺼번에 열린다. 62.7도를 조심스레 머금으면 공격은 놀랄 만큼 정돈되어 있고 삼킬수록 레몬이 날카로워진다. 여운은 길게 이어지며 마른 과일과 향신료가 뒤늦게 따라 나온다.

fresher and more vibrant than the ‘exclusive’, with much more citrusy notes, including tangerines, grapefruits and plain lemons. Gets maybe just a tad sourish/acidic but that adds to this one’s particularities. More and more on a plate of lemon-sprinkled oysters. Medium peatiness. With water: superb. A working kiln on Islay (not at Caol Ila, obviously), sheep, seawater, old leather, Havana cigars… Great nose! Much less lemon when reduced
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
perfect attack, very typical, extremely well balanced. Half-rounded like some older CIs can be but getting very lemony once again, which is quite beautiful. Gets sharper and sharper, beautifully so. With water: excellent. Everything is there in the mix, peat, spices, coatal elements, fruits (dried), spices… And lemons
