벤 네비스 산자락 포트 윌리엄의 차가운 호수 공기가 글렌로키 풍토의 핵심이다. 1979년 원액이 리필 아메리칸 호그스헤드에서 44년을 보냈고 53.2도의 깊이를 그대로 담았다. 옅은 호박빛 잔에서 말린 살구, 밀랍, 코코넛 부스러기의 향이 길게 올라온다. 입안은 묵직하게 토피, 마른 자두, 흰 후추가 또렷하다. 여운에는 폐쇄 증류소 특유의 마른 흙 풍미가 깊게 머문다.
