엑스 버번 배럴 한 통에서 46년을 보낸 시간이 1965년 카스브리지 그레인을 거의 다른 액체로 빚어냈다. 잔을 가까이 하면 오래된 종이, 코코넛 부스러기, 노란 꽃가루의 향이 부드럽게 오른다. 한 모금 머금으면 바닐라 캔디, 마른 옥수수 빵, 옅은 마호가니 우드가 45.6퍼센트 도수 위에서 잔잔히 흐른다. 옅은 황금빛 컬러로 폐쇄 증류소의 그레인 여운이 길게 머문다.

interesting this time, with very ‘antique’ notes, old books, old furniture, then more mashed potatoes, tea leaves, old tea box… It’s even a little gamy.
