스코틀랜드 동부 스톤헤이븐 해안 절벽 곁에 있던 글렌유리 로열은 왕실의 이름을 얻었으나 1985년 사라졌다. 1966년 증류해 13년을 보낸 뒤 오래 잠든 이 더피 보틀은 잔에 깊은 호박빛을 드리운다. 향은 묵은 왁스와 말린 과일, 옅은 소금기가 깊게 머문다. 45.7도의 입안에서는 꿀과 가죽, 은은한 해풍이 부드럽게 흐른다. 사라진 해안 증류소의 여운은 묵은 오크와 짭조름함으로 잔잔히 잠겨 있다.
