잔 속에 잠긴 옅은 황금빛이 1976년의 시간을 가만히 비춘다. 폐쇄된 노스 포트 증류소가 남긴 23년 숙성의 SMWS 74.5는 61.3도라는 강한 도수에도 보리의 단내와 마른 풀의 산뜻함을 또렷이 드러낸다. 입에서는 시트러스 껍질과 백후추, 옅은 미네랄이 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 여운은 사라진 하이랜드 증류소 특유의 마른 곡물 향과 함께 길게 이어진다.
