향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
호박빛이 잔 안쪽 벽을 따라 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 1981년 노스 포트의 27년 숙성 오크 캐스크가 빚어낸 이 보틀링은 사라진 하이랜드 증류소의 마지막 숨결을 담는다. 향은 말린 무화과와 견과, 약한 가죽 노트가 또렷이 깃들어 있고 안쪽에서 풋과일의 산미가 머문다. 입에서는 56.5도의 강한 도수에도 균형이 단단하며 캐러멜과 검은 후추, 떫지 않은 탄닌이 펼쳐진다. 여운은 마른 허브와 오래된 나무의 향으로 잔잔하다.

ho-ho! This is ‘different’ whisky indeed. It all starts on superb whiffs of mutton soup (yeah, no kidding), Turkish coffee and metal polish and it goes on with a fab combination of wood and coal smoke, warm tarmac, new tyres, burning charcoal and all things beefy plus dried herbs (many different).
