향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈의 첫인상은 보리의 단맛과 마른 풀, 가벼운 향신료다. 1989년에 증류해 20년을 채운 피티베이치는 디아지오 스페셜 릴리스로 나온 스페이사이드 위스키로, 이제 사라진 증류소의 흔치 않은 보틀링이다. 57.5도의 도수에서 맥아와 꿀, 흰 후추가 또렷하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 단단하고 직선적이며 보리의 단맛과 오크가 균형을 이룬다. 피니시는 건조하게 이어지며 향신료의 잔향이 길게 남는다.

it’s the high alcohol that strikes first, with notes of coffee and then pretty much the same very grassy notes as in the old 1977. Also whiffs of damp earth and ‘wet wood’ plus just a little vanilla. More straight oak after a while, also toasted oak and ‘yellow’ flowers, nectar. With water: it’s the oak that stands out now, with also hints of beer and even more toasted ‘stuff’
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
we’re even closer to the old Cadenhead now but this is rather creamier and even fatter. Sweet oak, vanilla, café latte, apples, grass and white pepper. No bubblegum this time. Notes of ale. With water: same as the 1977, only with more tannins
