향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈는 1976 빈티지 밴프의 24년 숙성이 안겨준 마른 헤이즐넛과 거친 곡물 노트에서 시작된다. 사라진 증류소 특유의 황색이 도는 산화된 사과 향이 뒤이어 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿에서는 55.8도가 입천장을 천천히 덮으며 토피, 마른 꿀, 후추 자극이 균형을 이룬다. 피니시는 오크 탄닌이 깊게 머물며 가벼운 광택의 미네랄 노트로 마무리된다. 사일런트 디스틸러리의 빈티지 구조감이 또렷이 드러나는 보틀링이다.

we’re even more on new oak than with the Cross Hill here, but there’s also a very pleasant fruitiness that we didn’t quite get in the siblings. Apple pie, ripe plums with cinnamon, something farmy, hay, white pepper… And once again these mustardy notes in the background. A rather round, but very pleasant Banff again. More a Banff ‘de salon’?

we’re closer to the DL now, with this nervous, compact and focused attack on fruits and spices. Bitter oranges, cloves, pepper, cinchona, sweet mustard and… more pepper. Let’s see what happens with water: more of the same actually, but it does get rounder indeed, with the very same notes of ripe plums and raisins that we had on the nose. Excellent
