스페이강이 동쪽 모레이 만과 만나는 평지의 풍토에서 33년을 보낸 시간이 향과 맛 곳곳에 또렷이 비친다. 잔에는 연한 황금빛이 잔잔히 잠겨 있다. 부르봉 캐스크의 영향으로 시리얼 단맛과 햇볕에 마른 들풀의 향이 먼저 올라온다. 입에서는 사과 껍질과 옅은 꿀이 부드럽게 풀린다. 44.2도의 노년 도수가 결을 누그러뜨리고 여운에는 마른 허브와 옅은 미네랄이 길게 이어진다.

it’s a touch more on the oaky side, but that was to be expected, and the whole remains well in check thanks to the fruit, this time veering more towards apple and peach. The oak delivers cinnamon, allspice, aniseed, turmeric and nutmeg, plus a touch of white pepper, but it’s all reined in by the apple, which keeps the shop running
