부드러운 호박빛이 잔 가운데 또렷이 떠 있다. 1975년 버번 캐스크에서 34년을 보낸 사라진 하이랜드의 Banff답게 사라진 증류소의 정갈한 결과 시간의 깊이가 함께 새겨져 있다. 코끝에는 잘 익은 사과, 꿀, 옅은 바닐라 향이 어우러진다. 44.1도의 도수가 입을 부드럽게 덮고 캐러멜, 마멀레이드, 토스트한 오크의 풍미가 발전한다. 여운에서는 옅은 흑설탕과 미세한 매콤함이 길게 머문다.
