퍼스트필 버번 캐스크에서 8년을 보낸 스뫼겐은 스웨덴 서해안의 신생 증류소가 빚어낸 강렬한 피트를 우드로 받친 보틀링이다. 북유럽의 차가운 공기를 닮은 그을린 훈연과 레몬, 해초의 향이 또렷하게 올라온다. 무려 60.3도의 도수 위로 짭조름한 피트와 후추, 시트러스가 강하게 입을 채운다. 맑은 황금빛 사이로 재와 바다 미네랄의 여운이 길고 단단하게 이어진다.
